Dmitry Bagrash addresses journalists, members of parliament, international organisations and all those who care about the rule of law and human dignity.
My name is Dmitry Bagrash. Since 14 December 2022 I have been in prison — for a crime I did not commit. The verdict of the Berlin Regional Court contained not a single legal norm. The appeal was blocked by authorities who refused to accept my documents. My court-appointed defence counsel acted without my knowledge. Access to the Jewish community was denied for 116 days. Letters were opened.
I have gone on hunger strike three times. I have filed constitutional complaints, lodged a case with the ECHR, and written hundreds of documents. Everything is documented — with original documents, sworn affidavits and chronologies.
I am not asking you to take my word for it. I am asking you to read the documents — and then to judge for yourself. If you conclude that something is fundamentally wrong here, please do something about it. Every voice counts.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I wish to draw your attention to the case of Dmitry Bagrash — a Russian anti-Putin activist and chairman of Unkremlin e.V., who has been held in custody in Berlin since December 2022.
According to the account published on his website (www.[your-domain].de), supported by original documents, there are serious doubts as to the lawfulness of the proceedings: the verdict initially contained no legal norms; grounds of appeal were systematically refused; access to the Jewish community was denied for 116 days; letters were opened.
I ask you to examine this case and, where appropriate, to take action.
Yours faithfully,
[Your name]
